1. General information
This Policy describes how personal data are processed when using the Cluster website, including contact forms, membership questionnaires and member accounts. The data controller is Association “Cluster of High-Tech Solutions for the Development of the World Ocean and Arctic Resources” (Russian taxpayer ID 7801652280, state registration No. 1187800005095).
For data-protection requests contact info@arcwocluster.ru. The contact address shown on the website is 29/37 Kronverkskaya Street, building B, Saint Petersburg, Russia. The Policy covers visitors, company contacts, applicants, project representatives, experts and account holders.
2. Categories of data
Depending on the request, we process names, job titles, companies, business email addresses, phone numbers, enquiry content and professional details. Membership applications may also contain signatory information, authority to sign and company registration or banking details.
Technical records may include IP addresses, request timestamps, browser and device information, security logs and cookies required for WordPress operation and login. Please do not submit passport details, health information or other sensitive personal data through general enquiry forms.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
Data are processed to register and respond to enquiries, review industrial proposals, assess membership applications, prepare documents, administer projects and accounts, and protect the website.
Processing may rely on consent, steps taken at the data subject’s request prior to a contract, contract performance, legal obligations or another ground allowed by Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ. Consent to marketing, public disclosure or publication is not implied.
4. Processing and publication
Data may be collected, recorded, stored, updated, used, lawfully transferred, restricted or deleted by authorised staff and WordPress-based systems. Submitted questionnaires and enquiries are not published automatically. Company profiles and project participation details are made public only after separate review and agreement.
5. Access and service providers
Access is limited to staff and authorised service providers who need the information for their work. Disclosure to project partners requires an appropriate legal basis. Cross-border transfers and overseas hosting must comply with applicable Russian law; the permanent hosting and service-provider arrangements will be checked separately when the site moves beyond the test environment.
6. Retention and security
Data are kept only for as long as needed for the stated purposes, unless laws or contracts require longer retention. Access controls, account credentials, backups and software maintenance are used as appropriate security measures.
7. Your rights
You may request information, correction, restriction or deletion where provided by law, and withdraw consent by emailing info@arcwocluster.ru. The controller responds within the statutory time limits. Withdrawal does not affect processing supported by another legal ground.

Cookie use is described in a separate Cookie Policy. Updated versions of this Policy are published on the website and remain freely accessible.
