Development of a standardised domestic range of monoblock casing heads for gas wells onshore, in Arctic regions and offshore, aiming to reduce wellhead operations and improve sealing and operational safety.
The Cluster has completed preliminary engineering and market work with potential customers and operators. Four basic variants have been outlined from actual gas-well designs, and a priority variant identified. Potential time savings are preliminary calculations and require validation.
The project seeks an industrial partner to co-finance development, establish prototype and serial production, with engineering and qualification partners also welcome.
