Financing should match the project stage
Prototype development, testing and serial manufacturing require different amounts of capital and different repayment terms. No single financing instrument fits every industrial technology project. Selection begins with technology readiness, production requirements and realistic market demand.
Early-stage projects may combine developer financing, private investment and suitable grants. Industrial deployment may involve development loans, bank finance or manufacturing-partner investment. A credible customer case and a defined partner chain can strengthen the investment proposition.
The Cluster can help structure the project business case, organise industrial partners, identify potentially applicable support programmes and prepare materials for investors and finance institutions, including industrial development programmes where eligible.
A potential instrument, an application under review, an approved proposal and funds actually received are different statuses. The portal should present these distinctions clearly.
