The project aims to expand the use of composite tanks and vessels manufactured by Sipride LLC for fuels, petroleum products and process liquids. Potential advantages over conventional steel tanks include lower weight, corrosion resistance and easier transport and installation. Economic benefits, fluid compatibility and performance must be verified for each product and operating environment.
Implementation programme
- Select priority tank types and integrated solutions with Sipride for oil and gas applications.
- Assess demand for tanks, including conventional steel vessels, in the Irkutsk, Tomsk and Novosibirsk regions, Yakutia and other areas of Siberia and the Russian Far East, identifying new-build and refurbishment projects.
- Hold technical discussions with oil and gas operators, engineering companies and asset owners to collect requirements and identify pilot locations.
- Support technical qualification, supplier audits, product approvals, field trials and initial deliveries.
- Support repeat supplies and expansion into Northwest Russia and other regions.
- Assess export potential and engage prospective industrial customers and partners overseas.
Role of Cluster VTOA
The Cluster researches demand, engages industrial customers directly and supports requirements alignment, technical qualification, pilot implementation and scaling. Where needed, additional engineering or pump-equipment partners may be invited without treating any specific organisation as an established participant.
Expected outcome
Validated demand, agreed product requirements, first industrial applications and a basis for further development in Russia and overseas.
